StawellBiz was launched in 2009 by a small group of likeminded business
professionals who wanted to establish a central point where local people in business could connect in an informal, yet productive environment.
From retailers and trades people, to farmers, multi-million dollar company
directors and home business owners, StawellBiz brings together those looking to network, expand their business knowledge, share ideas, find a mentor, or have a say in the future of the town’s economic development.
We organize a mix of events throughout the year including interactive and
engaging workshops, talks by high profile speakers, business visits and fun social events. We are also in touch with training provided by stakeholders like Northern Grampians Shire and University of Ballarat, Stawell campus (TAFE).
StawellBiz is also passionate about promoting Stawell and the Grampians region as a great place to live and visit and regularly works with Council and community groups on local events. Our committee also drives key marketing activities like ‘Buy Local’ campaigns to attract customers to the many quality products and services locally on offer.
